Volunteers needed in Lebanon and Batavia!

Dear friend of District 28 Corrections & Treatment service:

Please put the word out that facilities are opening up for AA volunteers to return, and we’re in serious need of volunteers!

Warren Correctional Institution (WCI) men’s state prison in Lebanon — I just got the word directly from WCI yesterday that they’re planning to reopen soon. Exact timeline: TBD. Application & training required. We need volunteers to apply now!

Lebanon Correctional Institution (LeCI) men’s state prison in Lebanon — No official word directly from prison staff yet, but the regional head of recovery services says prisons are working on a facility-by-facility basis to reopen and it is imminent. We need volunteers to apply now!

Lebanon Correctional Camp (LeCAMP) men’s state prison camp — Ditto to LeCI.

Community Correctional Center of Butler, Clermont and Warren Counties (CCC) men’s alternative to straight-up prison time in Lebanon across the highway from LeCI — No word yet.

Turtle Creek Center (TCC) men’s transitional living / halfway house, shares parking lot with CCC — YES! Reopening now! Meets Sunday night at 7:30pm. Application & background check required. We need volunteers now!

Warren County Jail (WCJ) houses men and women in Lebanon — No word yet.

Clermont County Jail (CCJ) houses men and women in Batavia — No word yet. But, we had three men’s meetings and one women’s meeting that will need volunteers. Simple application process. We need volunteers tho apply now!

Community Alternative Sentencing Center in Clermont County (CASC) men’s and women’s alternative to straight-up jail time in Batavia — No word yet.

Behavioral Health Institute at Mercy Clermont Hospital (BHI) is a locked-door behavioral health unit in Batavia — YES! Reopening now! Meets Friday nights at 8pm. Application, background check & training required. We need volunteers now!

All facilities are bound to lose volunteers who used to go in before the pandemic shutdown, so please help us spread the word!
