PI/CPC S.O.L.D. Project …. Service Opportunity, Literature Distribution

Your help is needed to make contact with people in the professional community who are willing to receive and make use of A.A. literature for their clients or co-workers or students.

In coordination with the PI/CPC Committee Chairperson, the literature will be distributed, in person or by mail, according to the A.A. Guidelines of Cooperation with the Professional Community (see item # MG-11 on aa.org).  Area 56 will cover the costs to purchase the literature from Central Office and get it in the hands of the professionals.

The professionals who come into contact with alcoholics through their profession include:  healthcare, educators, members of the clergy, lawyers, social workers,  E.A.P. and H.R. professionals,  military and government professionals.  Note that neither Corrections nor Treatment facilities are included in this list.   Those contacts are handled by their respective committees.
