I am attending the 74th General Service Conference of AA, “Connecting with Love, Unity and Service.” I am amazed, *and I am only halfway through!
You know what our upside-down triangle looks like, right?
This week the bottom portion of that triangle is working together on all the agenda items that were selected this year.
I am grateful and honored to be part of this process and to serve on the Literature Committee. Over the course of three days, our committee convened for over 19 hours to reach consensus on our items.
Those of you who attended Area 56’s Mini-Conference have an idea of what that entails (take your experience and multiply it by six). We are now beginning the process of hearing the findings of all the committees.
I feel the pressure being at the bottom point of our upside-down triangle as I work with all Conference Members for the good of AA as a whole, and for the future of our fellowship.
Know this: It is my job to elevate that pressure to the top of the triangle, all the way to you in the Groups of Area 56!
Come to our Area 56 Assembly on June 29, UNITY DAY, to hear my report. Thank you all for your faith in me to serve as your Delegate. With the help of my Higher Power, I will live up to my great responsibility.
