Giving Thanks

Congratulations to Unity for 50 years of continuous publication! … onemonth-
at-a-time! 🙂
Our newsletters provide vital communication for our AA community. Thank
you to the Trusted Servants of our newsletters who work so consistently and so
hard to ‘get the word out.’ As Area Delegate, I am most appreciative of the
space afforded me to share my perspective.
I am grateful to the Groups in Area 56 that contribute to the General Service
Office of Alcoholics Anonymous in New York. Approximately 4 out of 10
groups contribute. I am grateful to the Groups that contribute to Area 56.
Again, approximately 4 out of 10 groups contribute. I am grateful to those
Groups that have Trusted Servants in place. Approximately 5 out of 10 Groups
have a GSR. I am grateful for all the trusted Servants in Area 56 that have the
willingness to participate in General Service.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday everyone! Mark your calendars for our
next Assembly on Saturday, December 14th, 10am to 2pm, St. John’s Lutheran
Church, 470 S. Gebhart Church Road, Miamisburg, OH. Come and be a part of
General Service which is service outside of the Group or service for the good of
AA as a whole. Share your skills, thoughts, and ideas. Give some time and
energy back to Alcoholics Anonymous, the program that saved your life.
Service is where the fun starts!
